The Harmonized ELSA Life History is an age-sequenced collection of variables derived from the Wave 3 Life History interview of English Longitudinal Survey of Ageing (ELSA). Using the Harmonized SHARE Life History as a model, Harmonized ELSA Life History defines variables as identically as possible with the Harmonized SHARE Life History to allow users to compare variables with all other Harmonized data sets. Documentation for each variable in Harmonized ELSA Life History, including a description of its creation, the ELSA variables used, and descriptive statistics, is detailed in the Harmonized ELSA Life History codebook.
